Intelligent musical creation. Sound becomes movement. Movement becomes music.

StarShaper brings synthesis, Motion Waves, intelligent harmony, arpeggiation and rhythm together in one interconnected environment. It understands musical context, the key, the chord, the progression and where the beat falls, and helps you decide what each instrument plays, and when.

Every star has arpeggiation, harmony and expression of its own. StarShaper shares one harmony and one clock across everything you bring together, so one chord change can move a bassline, an arpeggio and a pad at once, and one instrument’s rhythm can shape another’s. Conditions decide when an instrument enters, evolves, answers or falls silent, such as after a set time, on a gesture or as you press harder, and every change lands in time.

Suggestions come from musical rules, mathematical models or optional AI assistance, and every decision stays open for you to see, change or override. There’s no timeline to arrange. Start with one musical idea, expand it into an evolving instrument and keep playing, shaping and combining without breaking your creative flow.

Stellar Awakening, from a single note.

Six moments, in an example instrument from five stars.

From one note to a complete instrument

One note to begin. Before it sounds, it’s read in its key.

An example instrument from five stars that share one harmony in D minor. The Spectral Star’s pad holds the chord, The Plasma Star plays the bass, The Harmonic Pulsar the arpeggio, The Particle Star the atmosphere and The Resonant Star the nested instrument. The lanes show what each plays over the last three bars and the decisions still to land, and the wheel shows the harmony they share.

The harmony every layer shares, and where each one’s notes fall.

The autopilot plays through all six, or pick one to stay with it. Bloom the atmosphere with a gesture, or hold to press harder.

  • A living musical system: The Kinetic Star’s accents set The Plasma Star’s filter moving, that movement changes The Harmonic Pulsar’s modulation depth, its harmonics change the density of The Particle Star’s grains, and The Origin Star’s pattern varies the rhythm, all round one shared harmony.

How do instruments shape one another?

    Interconnected synthesis

Parameters, audio, effects and Motion Waves interact across all seven engines and every instrument you build.

    Follow a living musical system

  • One instrument in motion: its oscillator pitch, pulse width, filter cutoff, resonance, drive, delay feedback and reverb size, each moved by a wave with its own shape and cycle.

    How does it move?

    Motion Waves

Every supported parameter can move in its own time, and in StarShaper one instrument’s movement can shape another’s.

    Watch one instrument in motion

  • Stellar Awakening, one instrument from five stars: The Spectral Star’s pad, The Plasma Star’s bass, The Harmonic Pulsar’s arpeggio and The Particle Star’s atmosphere, and the struck glass, a complete instrument made with The Resonant Star, as one part of it, with controls of its own.

    What can it become?

    Instruments within instruments

Everything you build, its musical behaviour and connections included, can become an editable part of something larger.
